General

Chamberlain University Center for Professional Excellence offers flexible online professional development courses, and tailored employer training programs. Most of our offerings are 100% self-paced and some may be supported by our experienced faculty.

Professional Development offerings are non-degree, non-credit courses. They are intended for learners who want to gain general knowledge, learn a new skill, upgrade existing skills, or enrich their understanding about a wide range of topics. Through successful completion of the course, you may earn a Certificate of Completion or Professional Certificate, to showcase your learning. These courses do not carry academic credit but may offer continuing education units. Please refer to specific offering pages for more detail.

After successfully completing a professional development offering, you will receive a Certificate of Completion or Professional Certificate. Please reference offering page for more detail.

The Professional Certificates are not academic or post-graduate certificates and do not lead to licensure, certification, or other authority to practice.

Learning Path refers to a type of Professional Development offering that learners complete in small chunks, called “Micro-Courses.” A Learning Path strings together these “Micro-Courses,” and creates a clear roadmap for learners to build knowledge progressively and tailor their learning to meet their specific educational needs or goals. A Learning Path may stand alone or, in some cases, can be combined with other Learning Paths to provide recognition, such as a professional certificate.
